According to Mental Health America, last year South Carolina was ranked among the seven states with the least access to mental health care. This comes as heavy news since nearly 5% of all South Carolina residents suffer from serious mental illness, and the state routinely ranks among those with the highest prevalence of any form of mental illness. Furthermore, official data isn’t released for 2019 yet, but all indications show the numbers are going up. We want to help.
