Washington Mental Health and Substance Abuse Hotline

Only three other US states have a higher prevalence of mental illness than Washington. This includes DC, so Washington ranks 48th out of fifty-one and it would seem mysterious, since the state ranks in the top 20 for access to mental health care. However, when you learn that nearly 56% of residents with any form of mental illness receive absolutely no care, perhaps it’s no mystery. A total of 1,164 residents died of drug overdoses in 2018 as well, so there is a clear problem. We want to help. The following hotlines are available to all residents of the Evergreen State, and the last two are available nationally. If you or someone you love needs help, please call whichever hotline is most suitable, and please call today.
