Since 1999, the number of fatal drug overdoses in Nebraska has been rising. In 2017, numbers hit an all-time high, and since then haven’t dwindled much. Unfortunately, methamphetamine seems to be the most widely abused illicit drug in the state, and it’s a deadly one. Add the fact that nearly half of Nebraska residents with a form of mental illness do not receive treatment and we have a serious issue. We want to help. The following hotlines are available to all residents of Cornhusker State, and the last two are available nationally. If you or someone you love needs help, please call whichever hotline is most suitable, and please call today.
