  • San Antonio Clubhouse
    The San Antonio Clubhouse is a government and donation-funded program. It doesn’t offer mental health or substance abuse treatment services. Rather, it provides a safe space where San Antonio residents living with a mental health condition can meet, learn new skills and build relationships. The clubhouse can help you find treatment services in the area. It also helps with housing, employment and job training. Club membership is free and open to any San Antonio resident struggling with a mental illness.

  • NAMI of Greater San Antonio
    The San Antonio branch of the National Alliance on Mental Illness offers supportive and referral services to people throughout the county. Residents can contact the NAMI Bexar Warm Line to talk to a trained peer support specialist.   • The Center for Health Care Services
    The Center for Health Care Services provides mental health and substance abuse screenings and assessments as well as therapeutic services to residents facing mental health or addiction issues or who have intellectual or developmental disabilities. It also manages a supported housing program for eligible residents. The center accepts most insurances, including Medicaid. It also offers reduced-cost services and financial aid options to those without insurance.   • Oxford House
    There are over two dozen Oxford House locations throughout San Antonio. These gender-specific homes are “democratically self-supporting and drug-free” and managed by the residents who live there. Each provides a safe place, peer support and life skills development to help those in recovery master their sobriety before living independently or moving back with family. Residents share expenses, although financial aid may be available for those who qualify.
