In North Carolina, nearly 1.5 million residents wrestle with mental health disorders. Of these, 452,000 adults received no care or treatment for their illness, with cost being the single biggest barrier. Almost half of all people who failed to get help listed the price as the reason they failed to get help or didn’t ask. For many, the first step in accessing treatment is making a call to a North Carolina addiction hotline.
A North Carolina rehab hotline or mental health crisis line is a critical first step toward getting healthy for those with symptoms of mental health disorders. Whether struggling with substance use disorder or co-occurring disorders, help is out there. The state and local nonprofits operate several NC rehab hotlines to connect you with treatment options. If you or a loved one needs help, reach out. Someone is waiting to take your call.
